My dreams of why I might want to open up a girl's group home

Here's an overview:

“A social worker or nurse wanting to have your own business helping others.”
“A concerned citizen wanting to help disadvantaged populations before they're put out on the street.”
“A socially-conscious entrepreneur looking for a way to help people through group homes and to make     a reasonable profit, too.”
“A homeowner who would like to turn your house into a treatment center and make a living from it.”

The types of services I might provide:

Maternity homes for pregnant teens, shelters of all types, foster care homes, hospices, senior care, juvenile delinquency, released inmate halfway houses, sober homers and mentally ill adult homes.

Residential care home**
Teen group home *
Girls home**
Board and care home*

Group home for troubled teens*

The girls' home name I've been thinking about for a long time is: RoseMary's Garden

Why did I choose the name RoseMary's Garden?

RoseMary is a soft, warm feminine name. This name represents all the underprivileged girls ages 11-18 who may not have a loving home, responsible and supportive parents, are runaways or those who live in the foster care system. The general structure of the outside landscape will have rows and rows of rose gardens that surrounds the house. Also the house will have a beautiful botanical garden that the girls will have environmental sustainability lessons in. The motto is: All girls can grow up to become beautiful, elegant roses.

What services does RoseMary's Garden provide?

All of the girls who will be eligible for RoseMary's Garden housing will have a three hundred and sixty five days a year opportunity to settle into their new home! Each lovely girl will be cared for with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. She will have her own bed along with the three other girls she will be sharing her room with. RoseMary's staff will be available at all time in case there is an emergency or if any of the girls need their assistance. We are dedicated to providing a wholesome, loving new home for each girl until she reaches the age nineteen. After nineteen the young lady is free to move on to living life in her own independence.

RoseMary’s Garden is located in a wonderful suburban setting where the RoseMary’s girls can feel well-adjusted and refresh every single day breathing in the fresh air of the cool winter mornings or the smoldering steam of the summer heat. Tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood yet close to all essential amenities necessary for daily living. All interior and exterior living areas are spacious, comfortable and welcoming. A Registered Nurse with over ten years’ experience will be a part of the staff in case any of the girls need immediate medical treatment. We welcome you like family and strive for best quality outcomes.

RoseMary’s Garden have unique schedules and housing arrangements. For example there will be twelve girls at any given moment housed at our facility. Like what was mentioned above. There will be four girls to a spacious room with their own full size bed, nightstand and dressers. Each bedroom will have its own bathroom or “lady pod.” There might be a few sleeping arrangement options given to older RoseMary's Residents aged seventeen to eighteen where they can choose their own rooms but those choices are based on room availability and on a first come basis.

The rooms will be aged grouped to accentuate the priorities of the girls. For example, it is best if a cohort of girls age eleven are in a room together while girls aged fourteen are in a separate room. Our unique schedules include but aren't limited to: A bedtime schedule, a breakfast and dinner schedule, a field trip schedule and routine etc. Not all our routines are of strict structure and lack flavor and fun. How does this sound? Every RoseMary's Residents will be able to participate in getting up every day at six, eating breakfast, changing into yoga pants and go out into the garden and to practice calming yoga classes to the rising of the sun.

Outings and community integration is done least 3 times per week and every weekend. RoseMary’s Residents can freely express themselves and voice their opinions. We provide an environment that promotes health, wellness and a level of independence for as many residents as possible, while facilitating their functional return to society. It is our desire to touch their lives in a positive way.
